I am trying to restore my iPad but I keep getting the following:
"There was a problem downloading the software for the iPad "Ronda's iPad". An unknown error occured (1480).
Yes, error 1480, I cannot find anything on this.

Hi, I know this was posted ages ago, but i hoped by now youd found out what to do. My brother has recently been tring to 'crack' my ipods code, and, consequently, locked me out. I am now tring to restore my ipode, yet, like you, keep getting error code 1480 apear. I have found no info on either the internet or the site i was directed to on said code, and really hopp you, or anyone else for that matter, can help.

I am really surprised no solution on this error code can be found. Now I have been keeping my iphone 4s idle in my wardrobe because it has been giving me the error code 1480. Will really appreciate if someone has been able to find solution to this error code
